The Last Days in Vancouver

During our last days of living in Vancouver we have been doing as many of the things on our to-do wish list as possible.  So far, this summer has been great and I’m hoping that the rest of the summer is as fun as the first month was.

The biggest thing that I’m looking forward to is my… BIRTHDAY PARTY!  I’m so excited!  We are going to this amazing place in Richmond called Extreme Air Park. It’s the biggest trampoline park in Canada, and it’s huge! I can’t wait until my birthday.  I’m hoping it’s going to be extraordinary.

My birthday dinner had all my favourites. Sushi, pizza, fruit, veggies & dip, Twizzlers, Cheezies and chips. YUM!

My friends and I are painting pottery plaques.

My dad and I transformed the room that's going to be our RTW storage room. Now it's an awesome fort for my friends and I to sleep in.

The next thing on my list is to go hiking to Lion Head mountain or something like that.  The Lion Head Mountain is this hike in Vancouver that’s really long, but we aren’t planning on hiking it all the way. It is about a 7 hour hike there and back… roughly. I really want to do it, but it probably won’t happen.  I’m keeping my fingers crossed though.

Last but not least, the final thing that I’m hoping will happen this summer is Go Carting! It’s something that I want to do that I’ve never done before.  It’s where you get in this mini car and go around a track really fast and it’s supposed to be awesome. I think I’m of age to do it. I really think that I will be able to at least I hope I will be able to.

These are the only pieces of luggage that we're taking for the whole year! I'm picking my clothes very carefully

The best thing is THE ROUND-THE-WORLD TRIP.  That’s the biggest thing that I’m looking forward to and I can’t wait. It’s defiantly by far the most important part of the summer. I can’t wait for the day we leave! I’m still a bit nervous as you might have heard in my previous blogs.

  2. Emma, I hope you and your family have a fantastic trip around the world. As much as I love go-carting, I think this trip will be way more exciting. Who knows, maybe you can go go-carting in China! Looking forward to following your blog. Have a blast!!
